  • Good understanding of cash applications, applying unapplied cash, reconciliation of suspense account, and processing from payment receipt to finalization

Responsibilities

  • Receive and deposit customer payments
  • Apply cash remittances and credits/adjustments
  • Maintain bad debt reserves and allowances
  • Prepare Accounts Receivable reporting
  • Post and reconcile Accounts Receivable activity to the general ledger
  • Solve queries related to cash applications and coordinate with customers
  • Conduct analysis and solve increasingly complex problems
  • Interact with peers within Accenture, clients, and/or Accenture management
  • Work with minimal instruction on daily tasks and moderate instruction on new assignments
  • Make decisions impacting own work and potentially others' work
  • Act as an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort/team
  • Collect operational data/reports, conduct analysis, and reconcile transactions
  • Optimize working capital, provide real-time visibility and end-to-end management of revenue and cash flow, and streamline billing processes
