Ability to verify order data entry and compare Rx to original prescription for accuracy
Knowledge of proper order filing procedures using the ABC system
Skills in taking measurements and ensuring correct frame selection for Rx power
Ability to read prescriptions on the lensometer
Capability to handle timely notifications of product readiness and order advancement in the system
Proficiency in managing money-related transactions
Strong member service skills, including explaining procedures, open and honest communication, and maintaining a friendly demeanor in person and over the phone
Understanding of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department
Responsibilities
Dispense spectacles and other optical products to adults and children based on prescriptions from optometrists and ophthalmologists
Advise and assist patients with various types of lenses and spectacle frames, including style, weight, and color
Carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, supporting club policies, procedures, and compliance
Act with honesty and integrity, lead with the member in mind, address concerns, and escalate as appropriate
