Requirements
- Electronic assembly experience preferred
- Good hand-eye skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work with close supervision when in training and moderate supervision once competent
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of GMP and ISO Standards preferred
- Ability to interpret and understand production documents and drawings to complete tasks
- Strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cGMPs, and Quality Standards
Responsibilities
- Construct simple and moderate assemblies and sub-assemblies in a production environment following lean manufacturing processes to achieve daily build goals, using tools and troubleshooting methods
- Read, understand, and interpret Visual Manufacturing Instructions (VMI), follow production drawings and sample assemblies, or receive verbal instructions
- Pack finished products, kits, subassemblies, and perform quality inspections
- Maintain material control of critical parts and time-sensitive materials
- Utilize calibrated and non-calibrated hand tools and equipment to perform assembly builds
- Use manufacturing aids, fixtures, and cranes
- Perform labeling activities and maintain work station organization
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, reduce cost, and increase throughput
