Requirements

Over 3 years' successful experience in a managerial position in an automated/production environment
Good knowledge of WMS, WCS and AS400 systems, and comfortable using the Office Suite, particularly Excel
Good level of French in addition to English
Charismatic leader and role model
Positive, good listener, and team player, able to lead and develop a team (Teamlead, Lead, forklift drivers and handlers)
Highly customer and results-oriented, with effective communication to achieve daily objectives and satisfy customers
Good negotiating skills and ability to manage conflicts
Flexible, able to handle pressure, and willing to work as part of a team / flexitime

Responsibilities

Report directly to the Operations Director and independently manage several departments
Plan, organize, and supervise daily operations to achieve daily and monthly objectives, respecting budgets, deadlines, and safety in an automated environment
Create and maintain a safety culture by ensuring strict application of health and safety guidelines and guaranteeing a clean and organized working environment
Draw up short-, medium-, and long-term business plans for departments and take actions to achieve objectives by defining and monitoring team KPIs, while managing operational costs
Manage, coach, evaluate, and develop teams (±150 people) with the collaboration of Team Leaders and Leads; communicate effectively with teams and social partners
Manage and optimize automated processes with a view to continuous improvement
Demonstrate great polyvalence, adapt to a constantly changing environment, take on daily challenges, and lead teams towards operational excellence
