Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to achieve sales and customer experience goals and objectives (sales activity goals must be met)
  • Competence to retain knowledge and solve customer concerns through memorization of product offerings and customer information
  • Strong attention to detail while multitasking with speed and accuracy
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the customer, the business, and your team
  • Display commitment through a reliable track record of attendance and performance
  • Computer literacy and ability to type 25-35 words per minute and learn call center software
  • A passing hiring assessment (soft skill scenario modeling and product knowledge)
  • Existing knowledge of multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, or willingness to learn (including Windows, Android, Blackberry OS, Apple iOS, wireless technology, wireless equipment and applications)
  • Ability to work onsite in a call center environment (4-8 hours daily at a computer, high noise levels, using headset 90% of the time); not remote

  • Escalate calls appropriately when needed
  • Demonstrate integrity in serving, solving, and selling by listening to customer needs, providing accurate information, and aligning with Asurion's values
