Requirements

The ideal candidate will have proven embedded sales experience, preferably in data infrastructure, databases, open source, messaging, or big data. A hunter mentality and a strong understanding of data streaming concepts, Kafka, and Confluent are essential. Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and/or tertiary cloud service providers is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

The OEM Account Executive will drive revenue growth by acquiring, building, and managing strategic partnerships with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Cloud Service Providers to embed Confluent's streaming platform. This involves developing go-to-market strategies, identifying target segments and KPIs, executing sales campaigns, engaging with stakeholders, negotiating partnership agreements, and evangelizing Confluent's platform value proposition. The role also includes prospecting for new opportunities, building strong relationships with key decision-makers, developing joint go-to-market plans, and staying current with industry trends.
