Candidates must possess an active compact Registered Nurse (RN) license and be licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Florida, with extensive obstetric experience of at least four years, including the treatment of high-risk patients, and some experience caring for infants. They should demonstrate a passion for optimizing evidence-based care and perinatal outcomes, experience using data to drive patient engagement and outcomes, and experience leading successful teams with a track record of collaboration and teamwork. A growth mindset, exceptional organization, attention to detail, and eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment are also required, along with familiarity with multiple tech platforms and a willingness to advise on platform improvements.
Responsibilities
As an Obstetrics Care Provider, the individual will be accountable for improving clinical outcomes for empaneled patients by overseeing their medical care, leading daily clinical huddles focused on collaboration, reviewing complex patient cases, developing care plans, supporting the clinical team, monitoring adverse events, conducting clinical retrospectives, leading the development and review of evidence-based medical protocols and algorithms, and actively participating in on-call schedules. They will also contribute to the optimization of patient engagement, activation, and outcomes through data analysis and proactively advise on platform improvements.
