Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, and prefer experience in provider credentialing and onboarding within a Healthcare/Insurance setting or an equivalent transferable skill set. Familiarity with physician networks, recruitment, credentialing, medical specialties, and terminology is also required, along with general knowledge of State and Federal compliance guidelines. Strong negotiation and communication skills, critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential.

Responsibilities

The Provider Coordinator, Team Lead will manage the workflow of the provider coordinator team, oversee the maintenance of the provider panel, work with providers within established guidelines, and support the onboarding of new providers. This role involves ensuring provider coordinator team operations align with established processes and compliance standards, coordinating and reviewing credentialing and contracting processes, maintaining provider profiles, onboarding new providers, obtaining and processing necessary paperwork, using DocuSign for document submission and tracking, submitting training materials, assisting provider reviewers, and performing other duties, mentoring, and special projects as assigned.
