Requirements

Licensed nurse (LPN/LVN) with current license in state of employment; additional licensure may be required in multi-state service areas
Established experience in nursing field with recent experience that may include direct patient care, physical assessment, clinical education, and group in-servicing in the long-term care setting
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Web applications
Ability to travel regularly, up to 80%
Valid driver's license and ability to drive long distances

Responsibilities

Meet with customers to present Omnicare Nursing Services and promote utilization of support tools and programs
Evaluate regulatory compliance and determine clinical education needs for SNF/Senior Living customers as it relates to pharmacy services
Review medication carts and medication rooms for proper medication storage
Observe medication pass and provide feedback to staff and leadership
Review charts for proper documentation of medication management
Conduct review of orders to medications being delivered by pharmacy to ensure order accuracy
Identify and provide recommendations regarding deficiencies and opportunities around drug inventories, storage, and distribution
Provide clinical training to facility staff, typically in small groups of 10-15 staff members
Manage resolution of customer issues and requests
Assist with onboarding new facilities to pharmacy processes
