U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process
Public Trust clearance
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
10 years of experience in IT support or related field, preferably in network engineering or operations
4 years of experience providing network support in one or more of the following: Wireless Access Point (enterprise level) Management and Administration, Cisco ISE 3.0 (or later) configuration of access/authorization policies
Cisco CCNP certification, or ability to obtain within 120 days of start date or as mutually agreed
Experience troubleshooting and resolving high-level LAN/WAN network incidents
Expert CCNP level switching/routing/troubleshooting in lead technical role including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRRP, HSRP
Knowledge and understanding of Software-defined (SD) networking, including SD-WAN technologies

Responsibilities

Provide alarm monitoring/response, escalation, resolution of incidents, and mentoring of junior analysts
Troubleshoot network systems and make improvements to the network
Take technical lead on critical network incidents and drive internal/external resources in troubleshooting
Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments
Implement, install, configure, operate, and maintain network operations tools including Cisco WLAN, Extreme Management Center (XMC), Cisco ISE NAC, and Zscaler
Utilize software/hardware tools to identify and diagnose complex problems affecting network performance
Perform advanced troubleshooting and support operational security for network devices and tools
Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for NOC areas including Wireless LAN, IP address management, DNS administration
Understand dynamic multipoint VPNs
Establish plans and goals for self and analysts to meet customer project needs
Prepare or participate in preparing NOC performance reports
Monitor, create, edit, and enforce standard operating procedures, processes, and timelines
