NGS Sales Specialist - MidAtlantic

A Bachelor's degree in Biology or a similar field is preferred. Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering financial targets, 3-5+ years of experience selling life science reagents and solutions, with essential experience selling next generation sequencing target enrichment products. Demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications is necessary. Preferred qualifications include a background in technical sales and support or field applications, and experience with Salesforce.com. Key attributes include strong drive, determination, self-motivation, scientific problem-solving skills, technical depth in synthetic biology, excellent consultative selling skills, positive relationship management, teamwork, strong communication and presentation skills, the ability to thrive in a startup environment, coaching and leadership skills, and strategic thinking with tactical execution.
