Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge across the access control and system integrator spaces
  • Ability to travel up to 70% - domestically and internationally; valid driver's license
  • Proficient in sales systems, mechanical aptitude, consultative selling, electrical engineering
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Acquire new security distributors to build out Chamberlain Group's access control strategy for the Community and Facility end-user segments
  • Build product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in the security distribution channel through regular engagement with dealers and prospects
  • Support dealer engagement initiatives with segment end users in collaboration with Chamberlain Group's New Business Development and National Integrator team
  • Represent Chamberlain Group at industry trade shows, councils, and networking events
  • Facilitate the trainings for the distributor's sales teams, specifications teams, their dealers, and Chamberlain Group's direct dealers
  • Support implementation of go-to-market strategies developed by Chamberlain Group's product marketing, engineering, business development, and new product development teams
  • Build competitive product knowledge to help position the value of Chamberlain Group's entire portfolio of products/services and expertise to expand market positioning
  • Regularly track and record all distribution activities and sales opportunities in SalesForce
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
  • Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
