Responsibilities

The Neutronics Analysis Engineer will define, develop, and execute in-core and ex-core neutronics analyses for reactor design, performance evaluation, and safety assurance. This includes performing criticality, depletion, activation, and shielding analyses using Monte Carlo and deterministic codes like Serpent, MCNP, SCALE, OpenMC, DIF3D, and PERSENT. The role involves supporting verification and validation activities, contributing to licensing and regulatory interactions, providing technical feedback to design teams, and documenting work through technical reports.
