Superior product and disease state knowledge to engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals

Sales experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in neuroscience (implied by job function and sub-function)

Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales expectations within assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner
Understand and identify customer needs, align marketing resources, and support pull-through activities
Embody and communicate Intra-Cellular’s corporate vision of improving lives of patients with neuropsychiatric disorders
Develop local strategic and tactical plans, manage differential resource allocation, and handle budget/expense management within territory
Drive sales performance by calling on HCP offices and Mental Health Community Centers both in-person and virtually, following compliance guidelines
Effectively use assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives
Customize discussions and client interactions based on customer needs in a compliant and ethical manner
Maintain current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers; share with internal stakeholders
Provide input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region
Identify and select appropriate programs/resources for each customer, practice, and/or system
