Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cyber security solutions (or related field) managing medium and large accounts
  • Demonstrable track record of success, including consistent overachievement of revenue targets
  • Experience working with Channel Partners and selling via two tier distribution
  • Track record of developing complex, multi-product/multi-year proposals
  • Strong presentation skills and technical understanding of cyber security
  • High sales activity: 6-10 customer and partner meetings per week, 6 hours of dedicated prospecting hours per week
  • Ability to prospect and close business, with relentless attention to details and never-give-up attitude
  • Ability to identify customer business drivers and conduct use case/business value selling
  • Ability to quarterback internal and external resources, managing different personalities and competing priorities
  • Must reside in Orlando, FL

Responsibilities

  • Manage 10-20 named accounts (6,000 to approx. 50,000 mailboxes) with a mix of white space and existing customers
  • Work with partner community to gain access to white space accounts while upselling and cross-selling to existing customers
  • Sell the full Proofpoint Platform, working closely with internal and external ecosystem partners
  • Develop account plans for each named account and identify add-on opportunities
  • Become a subject matter expert on Proofpoint platform value and competitive positioning
  • Maintain consistent high level of weekly activity with customers and partners, emphasizing executive selling (CISO, CIO, CMO etc.)
  • Meet and exceed revenue expectations
  • Deliver quarterly Customer Business Reviews
  • Secure renewals and educate customers on the Proofpoint Roadmap
  • Stay educated on roadmap, new solutions, integrations, and industry news/developments
  • Deliver accurate forecasts with clean and clear Salesforce reporting
  • Be a team player contributing to overall team success through results-driven activity
  • Clearly develop and execute path to plan with focus on forecast accuracy and SFDC hygiene
