Requirements

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, comfortable influencing at ‘C’ level
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding bookings goals within the cybersecurity marketplace
  • Track record of hunting new accounts
  • Strong business acumen, to understand the cyber security threat landscape, and become the trusted advisor of the CISO
  • Capacity to work with channel partners
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to use SFDC, pricing and other on-line tools effectively
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills: speaking, writing, formal presentation
  • Ability to work independently, ability to adapt quickly, positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Focus on developing opportunities within the customer opportunities / accounts in West Japan
  • Working with Sales Management to meet and exceed your sales ARR targets
  • Work with System Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans
  • Calling new prospects and delivering the Proofpoint proposition
  • Developing sales strategies to penetrate new accounts
  • Working with Marketing and other departments to further company’s strategy
  • Providing accurate weekly sales forecasts
  • Direct interaction with and development of customer opportunities / accounts in West Japan
  • Deliver strong operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy, SFDC pipeline development, etc
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
