Candidates should possess an Associate’s degree or two years of equivalent work experience, along with two to three years of prior mortgage processing or underwriting experience. Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and email platforms, are required, as is knowledge of Product, Investor, and Compliance Requirements. The ability to make sound decisions based on information provided and a strong work ethic are also necessary.
The Mortgage Processor III (Safe Act) will maintain effective communication with all parties involved in a new loan application, work with internal and external organizations to obtain processing documentation, immediately notify parties of irregularities, monitor and analyze credit reports and verifications, perform administrative duties, scrutinize loan applications, restructure loans, review and accept loan conditions, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and adapt to changes in the fast-paced mortgage environment.
