Requirements

TS/SCI with both Polygraphs
Bachelor’s Degree + 10 years of systems experience, OR Associate’s Degree + 15 years of systems experience, OR No Degree + 20 years of systems experience
IASAE, Level 2 certification (fulfilled with either Microsoft OS or Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications)
Experience as a systems engineer on one or more IT platforms
If assigned to Directory Services TTOs: experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management (PAM) Services, and MS Exchange
If assigned to Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs: understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling)
Skills in Telecommunication (TCP/IP, OIS/CMIP/X25), operating systems (Windows, UNIX, Linux), database/DBMS (Oracle, MS Access, Sybase), and applications (Tivoli, PeopleSoft)

Responsibilities

Participate in Information Assurance (IA) system, hardware, and software design activities, focusing on leading the evaluation of requirements generation, allocation, and tracking throughout the development cycle to ensure supportability for security certification
Perform implementation and technology studies
Provide identification and fixing of problems within existing systems, design and implementation of new systems, and enhancement of existing systems
Participate in analysis, design, and new construction of next generation IT systems
Understand customer needs and realities of commercially available IT products, and create requirements for implementation by the development team
Apply principles of ITIL and SEI/CMM to engineering work
Provide oversight/management of systems engineering teams
Provide technical project management and/or leadership to engineering teams and projects
