The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and managing a sales pipeline through self-sourced and SDR-supported leads to acquire new customers. This involves executing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demo and closing, with a primary focus on new business acquisition within targeted mid-market accounts. Key duties include understanding customer business challenges, aligning Customer.io's solutions, collaborating with SDRs and Customer Success teams, and tracking individual sales metrics and pipeline progress.
