Candidates should possess 7-9 years of successful experience managing and leading large and complex self-funded clients, along with a Health & Life license. They must also have experience leading a Sales & Account Management team and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
The Lead Director, Account Client Management develops and executes account management strategy for a book of business, including discussions on service levels and expectations, process improvements, and operation of benefit plans. They oversee existing business strategy implementation, analyze the competitive environment, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with constituents, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet constituent needs and remove organizational barriers. Additionally, they are responsible for recruiting, attracting, and retaining a diverse workforce, and engaging and developing them through mentoring and coaching.
