Candidates must possess a current, active, and unencumbered California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master's degree from an accredited college or university is required, along with proven excellent diagnostic, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills using evidence-based methodologies. The role also requires obtaining licenses for multiple states as needed and preferred qualifications include exceptional interpersonal skills, experience with virtual therapy, a deep understanding of psychosocial aspects of illness, tech-savviness with EHR systems, knowledge of insurance billing, strong crisis intervention skills, and previous mental health clinic or hospital experience.
The Licensed Clinical Therapist will provide psychosocial support and education to address the mental wellbeing of individuals, couples, and families ages 13 and older. They will utilize evidence-based care and assessment/treatment planning tools to support continuity of care for patients, practicing autonomously with support from a clinical care team.
