Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, nursing, social work, or a related field, demonstrating a foundational understanding of mental health principles and crisis intervention. Prior experience working with individuals in mental health crisis is highly desirable. The role requires proficiency in utilizing empathy and active listening skills to establish rapport with vulnerable individuals. Familiarity with the Columbia Suicide Screening Tool and safety planning techniques is essential.

Responsibilities

The Part Time Response Services Coordinator will be responsible for conducting outreaches to individuals needing mental health support via phone, email, and text messaging, providing brief support and engaging with at-risk individuals using empathy and active listening. They will utilize the Columbia Suicide Screening Tool to assess risk levels and provide appropriate support, maintain a database of referrals and resources, assist with developing digital health content, maintain patient documentation, coordinate with staff and emergency services for patient safety, track data and outcomes to improve service quality, and participate in monthly supervision with the Clinical Program Manager.
