Responsibilities
- Assist management with supervising associates by assigning duties, communicating goals/feedback, training on processes/procedures, providing direction/guidance on member service, ensuring policy compliance, supporting Open Door Policy, and participating in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates
- Communicate and support membership by providing information on types/programs/benefits, processing memberships/upgrades/credit accounts, encouraging renewals, participating in sales/marketing events, completing marketing recaps/documentation, meeting membership goals, and promoting Sam's Club products/services
- Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, guiding on self-service technology, assisting with transactions at registers/self-checkout, and filling club pick-up orders
- Oversee assigned area by handling claims/returns, zoning the area, arranging/organizing merchandise, identifying shrink/damages, organizing/maintaining carts/flatbeds, assisting members with transporting items, utilizing cart retrieval equipment per policies, and maintaining parking lot cleanliness
