Member Support Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time Location Type: Remote Salary: $21-$27 per hour

Position Overview

Brightline is seeking a dedicated Member Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional support to our members, assisting them with sign-ups, scheduling, billing, and various administrative tasks. You will be a key part of a dynamic team focused on delivering outstanding service as we expand our reach.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial phone consultations with new members to assess their fit for Brightline services.
  • Schedule appointments for members.
  • Ensure all necessary member paperwork is completed accurately.
  • Provide administrative support to Providers.
  • Address all member administrative inquiries between sessions.
  • Perform eligibility checks, process insurance claims, and collect member payments.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency within the Member Support team's internal software tools.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the member experience, streamline clinical team workflows, and improve operational processes as the company scales.

Requirements

  • A strong passion for Brightline's mission to transform behavioral health for children and families.
  • Proven experience in customer service, with a dedication to creating a unique member experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to support Spanish-speaking members.
  • Enthusiasm for building a new venture, a strong work ethic, and a desire to make a positive impact on families' lives.
  • Comfort and adaptability with various technologies, including email, EHR systems, and scheduling tools. Ability to learn new systems quickly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Commitment to completing all tasks, regardless of complexity.
  • Previous experience managing a medical office and/or familiarity with insurance billing are considered a plus.

Work Schedule: This is a fully remote position with a schedule of 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM PST, Monday through Friday.
