Candidates should possess extremely strong software engineering skills and experience in high-performance computing (HPC) environments with auto-scaling capabilities. Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is necessary, as well as experience in large-scale distributed training strategies. A strong intrinsic motivation to build better tooling and a pragmatic approach to balancing project requirements with quality are essential. Familiarity with autoregressive sequence models, particularly Transformers, is also required. A bonus includes having published papers at top-tier venues like NeurIPS, ICML, or ACL.
As a Member of Technical Staff, you will design and write high-performance and scalable code to facilitate fast training and sampling. You will read the latest research papers, implement relevant ideas, and conduct experiments. Additionally, you will research, implement, and experiment with ideas on the company's super compute and data infrastructure while collaborating with leading researchers in the field.
