Requirements

Candidates should possess 1 to 2 years of experience in a Medicare call center, demonstrating knowledge of Medicare products, excellent communication and listening skills, and an understanding of state, federal, and carrier guidelines for Medicare Products. They must be a self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to multitask, adaptable to a high-pressure environment, and driven to build and support an effective quality assurance program, along with strong attention to detail and computer proficiency. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience) is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Medicare Telesales Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for evaluating the quality and handling of calls and documents key trends/behaviors for management review, conducting audits to measure adherence and compliance within organizational/state and regulatory guidelines using a designated scoring tool for all carriers, supporting with training development and implementation for quality and performance programs, assisting in compiling and tracking responses on agent complaints, making recommendations on training needs, quality controls and procedures for continued improvement of quality and performance programs, involvement in developing, updating policies and procedures pertaining to business unit, and supporting with the day-to-day maintenance and operations of assigned functional unit. The role also includes meeting organizational thresholds on quality assurance program, refining quality performance program and trainings, meeting compliance for all state, federal, carrier and internal programs, identifying compliance risks within the organization, and other duties as assigned.
