Candidates should possess a doctoral-level qualification (PharmD, PhD, MD) with a strong background in cardiovascular medicine or hypertension management. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry is required. Up to 60% travel within the US is also a requirement.
The Medical Science Liaison will build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare providers (HCPs) through scientific exchanges. They will deliver medical education on products and disease states, including pharmacoeconomic analyses, to various stakeholders. The role involves acting as the primary contact for medical and scientific inquiries, gathering competitive intelligence at medical meetings, and supporting company-sponsored trials and Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR). Additionally, the MSL will assist with medical communications, grant proposals, health economics research, speaker training, Advisory Boards, and sales training, while staying current on cardiovascular disease states and competitive landscapes.
