Requirements

Candidates must possess an MD degree, with post-graduate degrees being preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience as an interventional cardiologist or equivalent is required, along with a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and device interactions. Experience in medical device development is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Director will act as a subject matter expert in structural heart valve therapies, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards of care and medical literature. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams on clinical trial integration and strategy alignment, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders, and leading global regulatory submissions. The role also involves designing and approving clinical strategies and protocols, overseeing medical monitoring processes, ensuring scientific accuracy in promotional materials, and investigating product complaints. Additionally, the Senior Director will support the implementation and expansion of structural heart valve platforms through proctoring, training, and participation in key meetings and advisory boards.
