Position Overview

This role is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products within a designated territory, focusing on building relationships with healthcare professionals, driving product awareness, and achieving sales targets.


Responsibilities

Daily Operations:

  • Maintain a minimum of 4.5 days of active customer visits per week.
  • Achieve at least 12 face-to-face effective visits per day.
  • Ensure correct coverage and visit frequency for A and B level customers.

VIP Engagement:

  • Conduct at least one visit per month to key hospital personnel (e.g., presidents, pharmacy directors, committee members, key opinion leaders) within the assigned region to gain maximum support.

Product Promotion:

  • Organize at least one product introduction meeting per week to enhance physician understanding of products.

Performance and Territory Management:

  • Develop monthly plans for the assigned territory based on company targets and track progress weekly to achieve objectives.
  • Strategically plan and manage hospitals within the assigned territory, regularly updating customer and department information.
  • Focus on intensive cultivation and business expansion within the territory.

Financial Management:

  • Submit expense pre-applications for market activities based on the regional manager's budget and market conditions.
  • Ensure expenses are approved by the regional manager and submit expense reports to the District Manager (DM) within 3 weeks of occurrence.

Product Strategy and Development:

  • Formulate monthly product development plans and key product development plans, especially for new products, in alignment with the marketing department's strategies and regional specifics.

Product Knowledge and Skills:

  • Participate in weekly product knowledge sessions and periodic examinations, which will be used for performance evaluation.
  • Effectively apply learned business skills during field visits to improve visit efficiency.

Work Hours:

  • Ensure 8 hours of effective work visits within the territory daily.
  • Maintain availability (phone on) between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM for company and customer contact (communication and travel expenses are subsidized by the company).

Reporting:

  • Manage and submit reports as required.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical product promotion.

Language Skills:

  • Basic English listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiar with using web browsers.

Travel:

  • Willingness to undertake business travel as required by the company.

Certifications:

  • RDPAC certificate is required.
