Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of clinical or medical education experience within the medical device industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong clinical and disease state knowledge is desired, particularly in the Neurovascular space. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ability to independently manage complex programs, prioritize competing demands, and lead in fast-paced environments is necessary. Previous experience managing a team is preferred.
The Medical Education Clinical Program Manager will lead the planning, content development, and execution of Medical Education programs across Penumbra’s product lines and therapies, ensuring timely execution of logistics and on-site management without supervision. This role involves strategic oversight of medical education logistics and the delivery of clinically relevant training experiences, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Faculty, and vendors, to deliver impactful education for healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include partnering with faculty, vendors, and Sales to design and execute programs, aligning education with clinical messaging and product strategy, and managing/developing staff. The role also entails leading all aspects of program planning to execution, coordinating logistics, representing Penumbra on-site, building relationships with HCPs and faculty, developing educational content, maintaining knowledge of disease states and products, documenting progress, evaluating program success, and adhering to the Company’s Quality Management System and relevant regulations.
