Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of experience as a marketing manager, with nonprofit experience being preferred. Strong skills in Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel are required, along with familiarity with Slack. Experience using Hootsuite and/or Sprout Social is a strong plus, and expert copywriting and editing skills are essential. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain focus, possess strong interpersonal skills, and work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

The Marketing Manager will write compelling copy for various marketing assets, including presentations, social media, website, email, and newsletters, working closely with the Sr Director of Marketing. They will coordinate all external and internal communication materials, monitor and respond to social media posts, collaborate with graphic design and video specialists, and partner with leadership team members and vendors to support GivePower’s participation in trade shows and speaking engagements. Additionally, the Marketing Manager will complete additional tasks as assigned and analyze marketing analytics reporting to refine campaign effectiveness.
