Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a data engineer with a focus on CDP (Customer Data Platform)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience with relevant frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and database systems
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions and their integration with RTCDP
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and relevant services
  • Proficient in transforming structured and unstructured data
  • Experience working on CI/CD processes such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD etc., and source control tools such as GitHub, etc
  • Familiarity with AJO (Adobe Journey Optimizer) and CJA (Customer Journey Analytics) is a plus
  • Experience with data governance and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA compliance)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand marketing and business data requirements and design scalable solutions within the RTCDP
  • Define and implement the architecture for storing, processing, and retrieving customer data within the AEP ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure smooth integration of data from numerous sources into the RTCDP
  • Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes to maintain data accuracy and consistency
  • Design and implement data models within the RTCDP to support efficient storage and retrieval of customer data
  • Optimize performance through indexing, partitioning, and other relevant techniques
  • Work with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to ensure seamless integration and utilization of customer data across the marketing ecosystem
  • Implement robust security measures within the RTCDP to protect customer data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement encryption, access controls, and other security best practices
  • Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address issues related to data quality, performance, and availability
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks, including data backups, updates, and system optimizations
  • Work on data governance and privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA compliance)
