Requirements

Candidates should possess trades qualifications relevant to the construction, building, or manufacturing industries, and ideally have 5 years of experience in a construction or engineering environment with prior experience as a Foreman or Supervisor. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively with others and demonstrate self-confidence in persuading and leading diverse teams.

Responsibilities

The Marine Superintendent will coordinate and manage work contracts to ensure timely completion and cost-effectiveness, procure necessary permits and licenses, develop budget estimates, plan and set out project phases, supervise subcontractors, verify project progress and quality, represent the company with stakeholders, maintain accurate project documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. They will also coordinate complex offshore logistics and marine operations, oversee offshore piling, drilling, and grouting, plan and control temporary works systems and diving operations, and demonstrate leadership skills in managing groups of employees.
