Position Overview

  • Salary: Base Pay Range $64 - $88 plus commission for an estimated on-target earnings of $189,000 - $259,875. This role is also eligible for Equity Compensation.

Procore is seeking an Enterprise Solutions Engineer, Specialty Contractors, to collaborate with the Account Executive team. This role involves supplementing demonstrations with technical expertise in cloud-based software and the Procore platform. The Solutions Engineer will act as the expert voice and resource throughout the sales process, participating in technical demonstrations, responding to RFPs, working with various internal teams, and positioning Procore as the leading construction software solution. This is a remote position or can be based in any of Procore's US offices.

Responsibilities

  • Own pre-sales technical support for prospects and partners from initial contact through product demonstration and close.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to close new business by addressing prospects’ technical challenges.
  • Enable new Account Executives for success and transform them into Procore experts through training and support.
  • Achieve complete immersion and mastery of Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Communicate with fellow team members (mentoring and asking questions) via instant messaging, email, phone, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Collaborate with all levels of the Procore organization to develop best practices and connect prospects and clients with Product Managers and Marketing to further client success and Procore’s evolution.
  • Work cross-functionally with Account Executives, Solution Engineering Overlays, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to establish a shared vision with customers and help them achieve their strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Construction IT or Construction Professional experience.
  • Experience in IT and management roles within the construction industry, such as Asset Manager, Construction Manager, Project Manager, Director of Information Systems and Technology, or IT Solutions Manager.
  • Procore platform user experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Ability to establish credibility with an executive audience.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and active listening skills.
  • Experience developing quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Confidence based on rigorous preparation and forethought.
  • High degree of curiosity with an emphasis on discovering how to evolve current thinking of ‘value’ for the Construction industry.
  • Strong storytelling skills.
  • Proven performance in a pre-sales support role selling a SaaS solution through demonstrations, drafting RFP responses, and onboarding sales executives.
  • Understanding of complex web and mobile applications utilized for documentation management, project management, or similar functions.
