Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3–5 years of related work experience in manufacturing or machine operation
  • Experience in label manufacturing (strong advantage)
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with cGMP and ISO standards (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Develop timelines and assign deliverables to team members, including themselves
  • Report on team’s progress
  • Implement and execute daily tasks within the department
  • Coordinate daily operations and production activities in assigned area
  • Assign deliverables, track progress, and contribute as a hands-on operator
  • Act as liaison between Manufacturing Manager and machine operators for clear communication and execution of production targets
  • Lead and participate in execution of daily production tasks
  • Operate and support key manufacturing equipment (web coding, lamination, sledding, web converting machinery)
  • Serve as hands-on operator while supervising and coordinating team efforts
  • Schedule team activities in line with production planning requirements
  • Supervise and support team members in day-to-day operations
  • Step in for Supervisor or Manager during absences or off-hours
  • Provide backup coverage for team members when required
  • Assemble product components to meet quality and production targets
  • Monitor and report on production performance and team metrics
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching and upskilling opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements
