Working knowledge of BOMs, MRP/ERP systems, yield analysis, and change control is also required. Previous experience in NPI-to-MP transitions, familiarity with thermal/power validation workflows or failure analysis, a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, and exposure to high-volume production scaling or rapid prototype builds are considered strong advantages.
The Manufacturing Operations Manager will lead day-to-day execution across contract manufacturers, owning the delivery of fully integrated server systems from board assembly to outbound shipment. Key responsibilities include owning build schedules, coordinating material availability, monitoring yields and quality metrics, driving issue resolution, enforcing manufacturing processes, ensuring daily output targets are met, and aligning cross-functionally on build readiness. The role also involves serving as the primary interface between Etched and the factory team, supporting production planning, conducting factory audits, and driving continuous improvement efforts.
