Requirements

Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience testing web or mobile applications, as well as APIs. They should possess 3+ years of experience in setting up testing processes from scratch, building and maintaining test documentation, and have a strong understanding of client-server architecture, testing theory, and SDLC. A basic understanding of CI/CD, networking stack (DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP(S), SSH, etc.), and scripting experience in any modern programming language is required. Upper-intermediate written and spoken English proficiency, familiarity with task estimation, and a proactive personality with a willingness to learn and contribute to test automation are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Manual QA Engineer will define end-to-end test strategy and processes for entire products, including suggesting appropriate tools. They will plan and execute testing for quality and conformance to specifications, assist project teams by tracking and reporting on quality initiatives, and investigate product quality issues, working towards resolution. The role also involves being a quality champion, evangelizing QA best practices, engaging directly with clients to understand requirements and define quality, and debugging complex issues. Additionally, the engineer will be expected to learn fast while working independently and reliably.
