Requirements

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, Agile/Scrum workflows, SDLC, and the complete testing lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience with manual and API testing (Postman or similar), plus familiarity with microservice architecture, API-driven systems, and basic architectural concepts
  • Proficiency with test management and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA, Xray, and Confluence
  • Good understanding of databases (SQL queries, joins, backups, migrations) and basic front-end familiarity (HTML5/CSS, Vue.js is a plus)
  • Experience with version control (Git) and exposure to CI/CD, Docker, or virtualized environments is advantageous
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Test documentation: Define, plan, design, and maintain comprehensive test documentation (Test strategies, test plans, test cases, scenarios) to ensure full coverage and traceability throughout the development lifecycle
  • Manual testing: Execute manual tests across multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop) including functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and exploratory testing to validate product quality
  • Defect management: Identify, analyze, and document defects, collaborating with developers to support root-cause investigations and ensure timely resolution using tools like JIRA/Xray
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Product Managers—to define testing goals, clarify requirements, and support high-quality delivery
  • UAT support: Provide testing support during UAT, assisting clients, coordinating validation and sign-off, and preparing relevant training or documentation
  • Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with project teams and stakeholders regarding testing status, risks, and quality insights
  • Continuous improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing QA processes, reviewing test coverage, supporting feasible automation opportunities, and promoting best practices within the QA community
