Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance, advice, and development support to the Consulting management team and team members
  • Assist the sales team with sales activities such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOW’s)
  • Act as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management
  • Assist in identifying business needs, staffing projects, and ensuring work/life balance of consultants is monitored and adjusted
  • Oversight responsibility for projects across the practice
  • Oversee and assist Engagement Managers and team members to identify project needs, reduce risk, and develop solutions and strategies
  • Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work
  • Assist in the recruitment, development, and management of a diverse, remote team of consultants supporting Workday applications
  • Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment
  • Lead and manage Senior Managers and/or Managing Consultants to ensure adherence to Workday and Cynergy Implementation Methodology activities, processes, and procedures
  • Drive team and individuals to achieve high customer satisfaction levels
  • Establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; build consensus and achieve goals through influence
  • Build trust-based relationships and identify and foster business development opportunities
  • Perform role of mentor and coach
  • Analyze team skills and provide for cross training to maintain teams’ ability to staff projects appropriately
  • Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise and availability
