Requirements

  • Hybrid role requiring regular in-office presence 3 days per week at downtown Chicago office
  • Strategic and tactical partnership with business leaders to drive recruitment aligned with organizational goals
  • Leadership of a small team of up to 3 recruiters/TA professionals
  • Ownership of full-cycle talent acquisition process, including sourcing strategies, employer branding, candidate experience, and onboarding
  • Collaboration with colleagues and department heads to forecast hiring needs
  • Knowledge of market trends and responsibility for establishing/measuring core metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, source of hire, pipeline management, candidate experience)
  • Ability to analyze metrics, identify improvements, and implement strategies

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of up to 3 recruiting/TA professionals, providing support, skill development, growth opportunities, and ensuring high performance
  • Establish, measure, and present individual and team KPIs (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, source of hire, pipeline metrics) to inform decisions and improve outcomes
  • Build scalable workflows and measurable reporting frameworks for insights into recruiting performance, funnel effectiveness, and workforce planning
  • Partner with business leaders and HR colleagues to understand priorities, forecast hiring needs, and develop proactive recruitment strategies and sustainable talent pipelines
  • Own employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice, attract top talent, and maintain engaging online presence
  • Lead by example, owning full-cycle recruiting for strategic, senior, hard-to-fill, or priority roles
  • Evaluate, redesign, execute, and continuously improve talent acquisition strategies, processes, systems, and tools aligned with best practices and positive candidate experience
  • Maintain partnerships with job boards, agencies, and external talent sources, optimizing their utilization
  • Partner with HR to develop and deliver recruitment training for hiring managers and interviewers, ensuring best practices, equitable selection, and strong candidate experiences
