Responsibilities

  • Facilitate functions as described in all levels of sales and coordination job descriptions
  • Provide leadership, development, and coaching of team members; actively engage and support team development for better performance and succession planning
  • Work with HR/Recruitment to drive recruitment and selection of sales and coordination team members
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of programs and projects impacting the department
  • Ensure fiscal responsibility by managing optimal gross margin, minimizing unnecessary returns, and using good coordination processes to reduce preventable costs
  • Ensure team members are knowledgeable with manufacturing programs, rebates, specials, etc., to provide market competitiveness
  • Motivate team members to achieve consistent performance with sales goals and other department metrics
  • Assist team members with priority issues
  • Monitor, track, and report on the productivity, performance, and quality of sales and coordination individuals
  • Identify staff strengths and weaknesses for training and development; hold staff accountable for deficiencies in a timely manner
  • Ensure high level of customer service to exceed expectations and build relationships encouraging customer return
  • Facilitate ongoing product training opportunities for team members
  • Develop and provide timely analytical reports to identify sales trends and make process improvement recommendations to Call Center Administration
  • Ensure all team members are current on procedures, policies, and guidelines through training and communication
  • Develop and recommend operating policy and procedural improvements
  • Other duties as assigned
