Requirements

Expertise in RM-PM Planning, Purchase & Engineering Stores, Inventory Management, Compliance Documentation, Relationship Management, Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence
Ability to run Material Requirement Planning and create call off purchase orders
Knowledge of production scheduling, sales requirements, manufacturing capacities, and 3P facilities
Proficiency in writing Purchase Orders per Purchase Policies
Experience liaising with Accounts Payable, suppliers, Plant QA, R&D, Imports team, and clearing agents
Skills in conducting weekly RM-PM coverage meetings and ensuring Engineering Stores operations
Capability to track inventories, material coverage, safety stocks, and set stock norms
Understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) integrity, warehouse capacity, and environmental conditions
Familiarity with compliance including SOPs, BBS observations, unsafe condition reporting, audits, CAPAs, CR tasks, Gemba observations, GMP, and audit readiness
Strong relationship management with internal/external stakeholders and suppliers
Experience in forecasting, supplier scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizens and DMS processes

Responsibilities

Run Material Requirement Planning and make call off purchase orders for Abbott Nutrition's domestic manufacturing plants
Handle planning, production scheduling, and collaborate with center purchase/planning team for materials/contracts/services
Perform detailed materials scheduling aligned with sales requirements and manufacturing capacities at plant and 3P facilities
Schedule raw materials to ensure non-stop supply to manufacturing
Write Purchase Orders for commodities supplied to domestic plants and third-party manufacturers
Act as liaison between Abbott Accounts Payable and suppliers on invoicing, pricing, quantity, and returns
Work with Plant QA, R&D, and suppliers on quality issues and mitigate material risks
Liaise with Imports team and clearing agents for smooth port clearance and documentation
Conduct weekly RM-PM coverage meetings with stakeholders for governance
Ensure effective Engineering Stores operations and stock maintenance per norms
Track plant inventories, material coverage, safety stocks; set stock norms deriving warehouse capacity
Monitor cleaning/environmental conditions of storage facilities
Monitor BOM integrity and manage inventory accuracy; target zero write-offs due to planning errors
Monitor inventory levels against targets; manage external warehouse (RM Storage)
Monitor non/slow-moving RM-PM to avoid write-offs; engage stakeholders for disposing rejected RM
Ensure zero loss workday cases, targeted BBS observations, unsafe condition reporting
Maintain SOPs (write what we do & do what is written)
Achieve no critical/repeat observations in Quality & Financial audits; no past due training/CAPAs/CR tasks or extensions; complete Gemba observations on time
Ensure online documentation correctness (equipment logs, batch records, environmental monitoring) per SOPs, Safety, GMP
Monitor areas/equipment maintenance per procedures for audit readiness
Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast, plan, and ensure on-time materials to production, avoiding disruptions
Generate/communicate supplier delivery schedules and forecasts
Develop/maintain supplier relationships; ensure on-time deliveries
Develop/implement processes and work with suppliers on continuous improvement
Ensure daily DMS process; identify Kaizens in warehouse, Engg. Stores, external warehouse scorecard
