Requirements
Candidates must have 7-10+ years of experience in leading or managing contracts and proposal-related matters. A four-year college degree in an applicable technical or business-related discipline is preferred. Experience with U.S. Government Department of Defense contract administration and management, including knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR), is required. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to lead and manage contractual matters for various types of contracts and possess thorough knowledge of contract formation strategies and negotiation skills. Additionally, candidates must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Government Permanent Residency.
Responsibilities
The Proposal Manager will manage proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and administration while serving as the main customer point of contact for all company contract-related matters. They will work closely with company leadership to advise on contractual rights and obligations, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer specifications for government contracts. The manager will also ensure that contracts databases are accurately maintained and oversee all activities related to the planning, scheduling, and development of customer proposals, collaborating with internal teams across various functions.
