Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Federal Civil Sales, with a preference for accounts such as HHS, VA, SSA, DOE, or NASA. They should have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota in technology sales, a deep understanding of the networking and security industry, experience selling Enterprise software with an ARR model, and the ability to communicate business and technical value to all levels of management. Prior experience managing a sales team is a plus, along with excellent communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Director Civilian will own the development and execution of their sales strategy in the assigned territory, identify and qualify leads, generate new opportunities within focused civilian accounts, build strategic working relationships with clients, analyze potential sales opportunities using data analysis, develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, maintain a client database, maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge, build and maintain a robust pipeline of at least 3x revenue target, and clearly explain the value proposition and goals of Forward Networks.
