Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Science, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 6 years of experience in manufacturing planning or supply chain is required, including at least 4 years in direct people management. Proven experience of at least 3 years in implementing and managing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process is essential. The role demands a strong track record in managing manufacturing planning or supply chain operations within complex, fast-paced environments, coupled with excellent analytical, critical thinking, communication, and people skills. Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools such as ERP systems, Power BI, and Microsoft is necessary, and APICS or CPIM certification is a plus.
The Manufacturing Planning Manager will lead all facets of manufacturing planning to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company values. This includes developing and implementing supply chain strategies, streamlining processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. The manager will oversee and develop the planning team, make informed decisions, foster a supportive team environment, and identify and mitigate supply chain risks. Responsibilities also involve ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, establishing business continuity plans, encouraging innovation, and developing relationships with key collaborators. The role requires analyzing forecasts, inventory levels, and financial performance, staying updated on market trends, refining stock levels, and leading new product transfers. Additionally, the manager will develop and implement coordinated Sales and Operations Planning and coordinate monthly S&OP Supply Review meetings.
