Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of up to 6 years of experience in IT is required, with at least 3 years in a people management role leading and developing technology teams. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud technologies, and common enterprise applications, is essential. Proven experience in managing IT operations, such as service desk support, incident management, and problem resolution, is necessary. Candidates must also have proven experience managing IT projects from start to finish with minimal supervision, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive team environment. Experience with macOS and Windows endpoint management, MDM tools like Jamf and Intune, and workforce identity tools like Okta and Lumos are preferred qualifications.

Responsibilities

The IT Manager will lead and mentor a team of IT leads and engineers, manage the day-to-day functions of the IT help desk team, and serve as an escalation point for complex incidents. They will mentor, develop, and coach IT professionals, ensuring technology and process consistency across all SimpliSafe locations. The role involves understanding end-user needs, creating positive IT experiences, and planning, executing, and monitoring OKRs and KPIs. The IT Manager will contribute to the overall IT strategy, lead technology projects and deployments, and maintain strong relationships with external vendors, monitoring SLAs.
