Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business / Marketing (undergraduate/postgraduate qualifications preferred)
  • At least 5 to 7 years of sales experience in healthcare/medical device industry
  • Proven record of success in a strategic marketing and management role
  • Significant exposure to the public and/or private Healthcare and hospital system in Malaysia
  • Entrepreneurial, highly motivated, results orientated, commercially adept, articulate, and confident
  • High level of interpersonal skills including communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Ability to maintain a high level of motivation throughout the team
  • Knowledge and information of competitors in the marketplace
  • Position based in Central (PJ Office)

Responsibilities

  • Identify new and follow up on potential business opportunities by being proactive in the marketplace
  • Identify customer needs and provide appropriate resources through liaison with clinical, technical, and sales teams
  • Responsible for the professional practice and development of staff employed in your state
  • Co-ordinate Quality Improvement activities and Human Resource functions for your state
  • Provide a high standard of Management performance through participating in the implementation of Fresenius Medical Care Service Goals and Objectives, Performance Agreement, and Business Plan
  • Enhance the organisation’s image through adhering to organizational standards and values
  • Positively influence the state team, delegating decision making appropriately
  • Make informed and timely decisions, clearly communicate them, and plan their implementation
  • Actively participate in the development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of quality improvement programs in line with Fresenius Medical Care business plan
  • Monitor all expenses and activities in your state in relation to profitability and against budget
  • Offer service contracts to customers
  • Manage Tenders and ensure responses are professional and attractive
  • Provide a monthly report to the Area Manager / Head of Department on all activities in your state
  • Ensure Receivables remain under 50 days
  • Manage personal work priorities and professional development, including undertaking professional development according to the performance management agreement, developing a personal and professional profile through membership of relevant bodies and participation in professional activities
