About the Role

We are seeking a smart, scrappy, and customer-savvy Manager, Business Operations (New Partnerships) to expand the supply side of our insurance marketplace. You will be responsible for identifying, pitching, and onboarding new insurance carriers, thereby increasing the value we offer our customers.

This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on the challenge of securing difficult partnerships. You will need to develop creative strategies to convince potential partners of the mutual benefit, collaborating cross-functionally and presenting compelling narratives and a strong point of view.

What You’ll Do

• Develop creative solutions for complex and strategically significant business problems.
• Take a hands-on approach, building strategic plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams for execution, and owning the outcomes.
• Source and close partnerships with insurance carriers to grow the marketplace's supply side.
• Create tailored pitches and solutions, particularly for partners who may initially be hesitant.
• Represent Jerry professionally, clearly, and insightfully in external meetings.

• Experience: 4+ years in business development, partnerships, strategy, or similar roles, ideally within a high-growth startup or consulting environment.
• Deal Closing: Proven track record of driving and closing complex, high-value deals.
• Drive & Curiosity: Exceptional drive and intellectual curiosity; a self-starter obsessed with impact and focused on outcomes.
• Communication & Influence: World-class communication and influencing skills, capable of navigating senior executive conversations with ease and precision.
