They should be comfortable selling and coaching across multiple use cases and buyer personas, thriving in fast-moving, changing environments with a bias for testing, adapting, and improving quickly. Collaborative partners who work seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps are essential.
The Manager, Business Development will hire, onboard, and grow a team of early-career sellers, establishing clear career paths into AE and CS roles. They will coach the team through live call reviews, email breakdowns, and structured 1:1s to improve conversion rates. Responsibilities include building the operating rhythm with dashboards, CRM hygiene standards, and weekly pipeline reviews. The manager will partner across Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to enhance lead quality, routing, and handoffs. They will develop and refine the BDR playbook, including cadences, talk tracks, and qualification criteria, and model customer excellence by participating in calls and translating insights into repeatable plays. This role emphasizes scaling with speed through action, A/B testing, and operationalizing successful strategies quickly.
