Responsibilities

  • Aggressively pursue targeted accounts within designated territories
  • Collaborate with Territory Account Executives and other teams to secure new accounts
  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities through persistent prospecting and research
  • Build a robust pipeline using cold calls, emails, and social media, consistently meeting or exceeding quotas and activity targets
  • Articulate Walmart Business value proposition and address customer pain points with tailored solutions
  • Develop initial customer profiles to support further discovery by AEs or nurturing by Marketing
  • Stay informed about assigned sectors, B2B retail trends, and competitive developments
  • Manage the sales process from start to finish, including delivering presentations to potential clients
  • Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage, track, and report lead activities
  • Refine sales processes to improve the lead generation and qualification efficiency
  • Drive territory growth by signing accounts ranging from small to large
  • Present offerings and value propositions to subsidiaries associated with larger accounts, supporting AEs
  • Achieve individual and team activity metrics and opportunity creation
  • Partner closely with onboarding team to ensure smooth transition for newly closed accounts
  • Hand off long-term growth opportunities to the Account Management team
  • Work in collaboration with Territory Account Executives to align on sector-specific outreach strategies and customer needs
  • Provide feedback to Marketing on the quality and performance of incoming Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and their effectiveness in generating Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
